We have pieces of Feather Rock that are between 12-18" that we have drilled to make planters.
These planters are available either with 1 6" hole or multiple 3" holes (1, 2, or 3).
They vary in color, size, and shape and come unplanted.
We have used them for planting agaves and miniture hosta, just to name a few ideas.
